NASCAR fans, corporations, schools and organizations across the country are encouraged to donate $5 and all participants receive a collectible NASCAR Day 2007 lapel pin for their donation. All proceeds from NASCAR Day 2007 pins sold at DAYTONA USA will stay in the local community and benefit Speediatrics, the pediatric care unit at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

When NASCAR fans purchase their NASCAR Day 2007 pin at DAYTONA USA, they can also write their name or message on a ribbon that will be displayed in the lobby of DAYTONA USA.

On May 18, the date for NASCAR Day 2007, fans are encouraged to wear their NASCAR Day lapel pin along with their favorite NASCAR gear.

Between noon - 2 p.m. on May 18, race fans that purchased their NASCAR Day 2007 pin can come celebrate with Daytona International Speedway and DAYTONA USA employees outside the attraction with a hot dog roast.

NASCAR Day, an annual, charitable celebration of the spirit of NASCAR fans, last year raised more than $1.3 million for the NASCAR Foundation, which supports a wide range of charitable initiatives that reflect the core values of the NASCAR Family.
