DAYTONA 500 EXPERIENCE is offering a hands-on experience for Jr. High students. Lab stations will be set up in the Garages at Daytona International Speedway.

DAYTONA 500 EXPERIENCE is committed to high quality, content-based field studies that connect learning to life. By combining an excellent "classroom" with relevant instructional materials, we will assist teachers in making learning both effective and fun.

Physics Labs in the Sprint Cup or Nationwide Garages

Students will feel what it is like to be on a race team and work in the famous Sprint Cup or Nationwide Series Garages while learning Physics. Racing-themed labs dealing with Friction, Center of Mass, Velocity, Mechanical Advantage, and more will be used to bring the science of racing into every-day life terms students can take back to the class room.

Heritage of Daytona Scavenger Hunt

Search for answers to historic questions as you walk through a time line which provides a fascinating journey through over 100 years of racing. From the old beach races to today's superspeedways, see how it all came together and how William "Big Bill" France started NASCAR fever.

Speedway Tour Trivia

Visit the actual race track and experience the wonder of the banked turns as you imagine the stands with more than 150,000 spectators. Students will be tested on their knowledge of Daytona International Speedway and how it has affected our local history while completing trivia cards on the tour.

Coca-Cola IMAX Theatre

Feel your heart pound as you find yourself in the middle of the larger-than-life magic of IMAX featuring "NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience"
